The City of Hunter is pleased to announce that the city dump is now reopened for residents needing to dispose of yard waste, including:
✅ Tree limbs
✅ Branches
✅ Leaves
The dump gate will remain unlocked for residents to access as needed.
Dumping Guidelines & Restrictions
To keep this resource available for the community, please follow these important guidelines:
🚫 No dumping of the following materials:
- Household trash
- Building materials (wood, drywall, shingles, etc.)
- Furniture or appliances
- Hazardous waste or any non-organic materials
This site is strictly for natural yard debris to prevent environmental hazards and ensure continued use by residents.
Monitoring & Compliance
City officials will regularly monitor the dump for any violations. If unauthorized materials are found, the site may be closed indefinitely. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in keeping this space clean and properly maintained.
